if you are:
ADHD
a Woman
a Visionary
In business for 2+ years and…
Now recognizing burnout
Did you start your business before you were diagnosed with (or believed yourself to have) ADHD?
If yes, a very important lens on your life was missing when you started this business journey.
You started this enterprise while waiting on the confirmation that "it" would all make sense some day; YOU would make sense some day.
Our society has very few ways to confirm that you, and by extension, your vision make sense.
Your vision for the world couldn't be confirmed by grades.
It couldn't be confirmed by adult praise.
It couldn't be confirmed by standardized test scores.
Neither grades, nor authority figures nor test scores could confirm your vision(s) is right.
Nor could they confirm your vision is wrong.
They've never had the power to confirm your vision is something or is nothing, even if it has felt as if they have this power.
So, you began a business thinking about your behaviors more than you thought about your needs; thinking about your behaviors more than your vision;
thinking how you would shift your performance skills away from seeking praise from authority figures to seeking love from followers and funders.
Even as you struck out on your own, you still believed THEY have the power to confirm; to validate your magical thoughts. So, you began your enterprise thinking about work-arounds and how to compensate for deficits: how to be seen and unseen at the same time.
Now that you see: you ARE the confirmation, it is time to rethink the values you (unknowingly) embedded in the structure of your business.
You now have space to think about strategic partnerships that work as well for you as they do for funders, e.g. btw: those funders are fortunate to have access to your dream.
You now know your vision deserves time, so you'll make time to think about spiritual alignments with the right implementers. They can help translate your ideas to the world; taking care to lose nothing in translation.
You need the right tools; the right people.
You were never in question. Your vision was never in question.
Your very existence is the confirmation. Your existence created room for your vision.
YOU, yes YOU, ARE the confirmation you've been waiting for.
I am glad to hear this. Let me know what I can do to help you take the next step and the next....
Sometimes the next step is a new way of thinking about something. Sometimes it's a strategy. Sometimes it's a task.
Thank you for being here.
This is so affirming as I am spiritually grounding and shedding.
Reframing my mind with the help of your articles & templates has been huge.
Many thanks!
